• Flyway Chardonnay, from the Middle Reach neighborhood of Russian River Valley, has tropical stone fruit and toasty layers, a nose of apricots, spiced pears and pink grapefruit with touches of guava, honeycomb, cashews, and brioche, and a satiny texture to lift the long, savory finish. • Pagnano Zinfandel is an estate wine, from a jewel of a vineyard in the heart of the old-vine Wood Road district of Russian River Valley. It is rich and opulent in the mouth, with a spicy nose of Chinese five spice, hoisin and Sichuan pepper and a core of black raspberry, red current jelly and cranberry sauce plus hints of dried lavender. • Alcman is a reserve Pinot Noir from the Russian River Valley, named after the 7th century BCE Greek lyric poet. The palate is packed with black and blue fruit flavors, accented by earth and spice notes, with seductive aromas of black cherries, wild blueberries and pomegranate plus hints of baking spices, lilac, and black pepper, with a lingering grainy-tannin finish. • Sappho is named after the great Greek lyric poet, who is recognized for the intensity and intimacy of her verse.
