• Siebert Ranch is a hillside vineyard in the Eastern Hills of the Russian River Valley. With the "opportunity" created by being wiped out in the 2017 wildfire to replant his Grandpa Henry's vineyard, Ken chose to replace a former sheep yard and barn with a block of Chardonnay vines, reflecting his decades of experience living on and farming this land that is so dear to his heart. We planted Hyde/old Wente and clone 76/heritage Sterling musqué clones. Barrel-fermented using native primary and secondary fermentation, sur lies with bâttonage and barrel aged 16 months in French oak barrels, about 25% new, produces this savory, spicy, bright Chardonnay with generous mouthfeel. 96 Points, Editor's Choice, Wine Enthusiast
• Our reserve Chardonnay is named after Praxilla , one of the nine great women poets of Ancient Greece. In crafting this reserve Chardonnay, I pushed native yeast fermentation to the "wild edge of abandon" to create sultry, savage notes of savory spice, a great acid backbone and complex flavor profile, and exceptional creaminess on the finish. 94 Points, Wine Enthusiast
