A focus on both vineyard-designate and reserve bottlings of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. After a number of years' experience with a given vineyard, when it has proven itself with consistently superior wines, I create a Reserve Series wine from those barrels that are most distinctive.

This selection as 1 bottle of Siebert Ranch Chardonnay, 2 bottles of Gunsalus Vineyard Pinot, 1 bottle of Praxilla reserve Chardonnay, and 2 bottles of Alcman reserve Pinot (for the 6 bottle option), and 2 bottle of Siebert Ranch Chardonnay, 4 bottles of Gunsalus Vineyard Pinot, 1 bottle of Praxilla reserve Chardonnay, and 4 bottles of Alcman reserve Pinot (if you buy the case of 12 bottles).

  • Siebert Ranch is a hillside vineyard in the Eastern Hills of the Russian River Valley. With the "opportunity" created by being wiped out in the 2017 wildfire to replant his Grandpa Henry's vineyard, Ken chose to replace a former sheep yard and barn with a block of Chardonnay vines, reflecting his decades of experience living on and farming this land that is so dear to his heart. We planted Hyde/old Wente and clone 76/heritage Sterling musqué clones. Barrel-fermented using native primary and secondary fermentation, sur lies with bâttonage and barrel aged 16 months in French oak barrels, about 25% new, produces this savory, spicy, bright Chardonnay with generous mouthfeel. 96 Points, Editor's Choice, Wine Enthusiast
  • Pamela and Glen Gunsalus planted their 10 acres of Pinot Noir on a west/northwest-facing slope of a hilltop in the Green Valley of the Russian River Valley in 2001. They continue to live on the vineyard, and farm it with the scientific precision that speaks to their professional careers prior to becoming farmers, and the love that comes from decades of living on and personally farming the land. Dijon clones of Pinot Noir, grown on Goldridge loam soil, produces this wine with bright red fruit character, energetic acidity, and distinctive structure. 95 Points, Wine Enthusiast
  • Our reserve Chardonnay is named after Praxilla , one of the nine great women poets of Ancient Greece. In crafting this reserve Chardonnay, I pushed native yeast fermentation to the "wild edge of abandon" to create sultry, savage notes of savory spice, a great acid backbone and complex flavor profile, and exceptional creaminess on the finish. 9 4 Points, Wine Enthusiast
  • Alcman Pinot Noir, from the Russian River Valley, is named after the 7th century BCE Greek lyric poet. The palate is packed with black and blue fruit flavors, accented by earth and spice notes, with seductive aromas of black cherries, wild blueberries and pomegranate plus hints of baking spices, lilac, and black pepper, with a lingering grainy-tannin finish. 97 Points, Editor's Choice, Wine Enthusiast
